The Story
Lucifer thought he was defeated after the fall of the angels. He hid from Adonai and His creations, occasionally carrying out temptation to allow his seed of sin to spread as the population of the world grew. Centuries went by and Lucifer plotted for a way to further taint the face of mankind beyond sin.
Meanwhile, as the people of Adonai grew in numbers, Lucifer was suddenly succumbing to a sexual attraction towards mortal women. Soon, unable to endure his urges, he fled to a Babylonian queen and seduced her. He slept with her countless times and she birthed a son. The son was born as a creature that exceeded Lucifer’s imagination. It was a creation so beautifully wicked and distorted that Lucifer was fascinated. Lucifer went to his angels and after discovering that they had slept with mortal women as well, realized that he could construct a population of angel-human hybrids.
Lucifer, using the hybrids, created a new race of people who were soon called Nephilim (Hebrew for ‘fallen ones’). The Nephilim were beasts in themselves; either born with horrific defects and brute strengths, or with hellish powers that defied mortal understanding.
Lucifer, needing more help to look over his new creations, brought together a group of his most trusted angels. Two hundred of them signed allegiance to Lucifer and created a consecrated clan known as the Grigori (or the Watchers). Twenty-three fallen angels were assigned authority over the other hundreds of fallen angels in the Grigori. There names were Yeqon, Asbyel, Gaderyel, Pinemye, Kasadya, Semyaz, Aristaqis, Armen, Kokbayel, Turyel, Rumyal, Danyul, Neqayel, Baraqel, Armaros, Betryal, Basasyel, Hananyel, Sipweseyel, Yeteryel, Tumayel, Rumyel, and Azazyel.
However, Lucifer was not planning the rebellion of some of his creations. Though Nephilim were seemingly born all evil, some, discovering the righteousness of Adonai, rebelled against their fathers to fight against their brothers in Adonai’s name.
Lucifer, using the power of the Grigori and his Nephilim, was careful to kill most of the Nephilim who rebelled.
Centuries and centuries later, Dante was born from the seed Lucifer himself. Dante, when he was nearly a grown man, discovered that he could use his deadly powers to complete the will of Adonai.
Later, after meeting others of his kind who rebelled against Lucifer, he realized that he could fight back. Dante soon founded Providence, a group of Nephilim who rebelled against Lucifer.
Now, Lucifer’s goal is to stop Dante and Providence from preventing the completion his Nephilim army.
Providence’s goal is to recruit as many fighters as possible to rid the world of the Nephilim threat and to send Lucifer back into the shadows.
