I sigh. Dad wasn't home yet. Of course. I sit at the piano. " 'Afternoon, Florencia." I stroke the painted-black wood of the upright piano. The uneven coloring was beautiful to me. I start randomly playing, hoping no one would come and yell at me... Again.

| I get extremely bored of piano, and have the sudden urge to go for a walk. I throw my sketchbook, some pencils, a notebook, my cell phone, iPod, camera, wallet, and a waterbottle into my purse. I zip up my jacket as I lock the apartment up and walk down to the sidewalk. | |
